Hi Folks, I wanted to add a couple of notes to this summary from Pam, Michelle and the BatchBlue team (thanks for hosting Sbbuzz!)….

I was late to the conversation but there are a couple of things I wanted to interject to earlier items.

Regarding sponsorship / monetization (if your objective is to get some revenue rather than using a podcast as solely new biz dev), I believe that an “affiliate” model is going to ultimately win the day in online media. Advertisers can truly measure your effectiveness in driving converting customers regardless of the size of your audience (niches!). You will be compensated according to transaction commissions & if you have aligned your affiliate programs effectively you will provide real value to your listening audience.

A question I would pose to the group .. What is the thinking regarding comprehensive show notes and/or a blog post. Initial thinking was that it provided indexable content for search engines, but as we move towards rich media getting extracted, do we still need full posts? I like providing links to sites or articles we discuss, but a full summary is time consuming.

We do constantly request feedback, and love getting comments. Bella Buzz has even received it’s first rating on ITunes so we are really excited about that!

Thanks guys, I’m glad to be part of this great community.
